The Yamaha P-225 uses samples from Yamaha’s flagship CFX concert grand piano, renowned for its sparkling highs and powerful low registers. With the built-in Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology, the rich and complex resonances of a real grand piano are faithfully reproduced, depending on how the keys are played. The result is an immersive and expressive piano sound, without the need for tuning.

Yamaha Smart Pianist app

The P-225 is compatible with Yamaha’s free Smart Pianist app. Using your smartphone or tablet, you can intuitively control all functions of the instrument without needing to consult the manual. You can easily select voices, adjust settings, and display scores of the built-in songs. This makes the app a simple and user-friendly companion.
