Personal data are all data that can be traced back to you as an individual. Piano's Maene processes the following personal data:
- Personal data: name, gender, date of birth.
- Address data: street name, house number, postal code, place of residence, country

- Payment data: IBAN, account number, credit card number
- Account details: customer number, username, password, IP address
- Identity data: copy of ID card
- Recordings: camera and telephone recordings
We process your personal data when you have or have had contact with Pianos Maene. We obtain this data directly from you when you visit one of our stores or our website, register for one of our events or services, or contact our customer service.

In what ways does Piano's Maene use your personal data?
1. PROCESSING YOUR ORDER
When you place an order with Piano's Maene, we need your personal information to process and deliver the order. The same goes for handling any returns or repairs. To do this, we collect your name, gender, address information (delivery address and billing address), phone number, e-mail address and your payment information.
When you rent or buy a piano from Piano's Maene, we also need a copy of your ID card in addition to personal data.
All these personal data are necessary for the execution of a sales agreement between you and Piano's Maene. According to the legal obligation, these data are kept for 7 years.
2. YOUR VISIT TO ONE OF OUR STORES
All our stores are continuously monitored by means of camera recordings. Piano's Maene has a legitimate interest to use these images for the protection of employees and customers against forms of aggression and violence. In addition, these images can be used for investigation purposes in case of suspicion of theft or fraud and possibly as evidence. Camera recordings will be destroyed after a period of 3 months.
3. YOUR CONTACT WITH OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE
If you have a question or want advice about your (potential) purchase, you can contact our customer service via email, phone, chat, our website or social media. To best serve you, we store your contact information and your conversation with customer service for as long as you are a customer with us. We have a legitimate interest to use these contacts in order to improve our services.

Newsletter and e-mail
To inform you about promotions or upcoming events at Pianos Maene, you can subscribe to our newsletter. You can do this by entering your e-mail address on our homepage or when placing a webshop order. Piano's Maene will only send you an e-mail message if you have given your permission.

Pianos Maene can provide you with the latest offers and product information while browsing, fully tailored to your personal interests. 5. FOR AN OPTIMAL EXPERIENCE ON OUR WEBSITE
Piano's Maene offers you an optimally functioning web shop, in which the placement of some cookies is necessary, for example to save the contents of your shopping cart. We would also like to measure your activities and surfing behavior on our websites, so that we are able to continuously improve our websites. For this we need your permission.
To measure your activities and surfing behavior, Piano's Maene uses Google Analytics, which anonymizes your IP address. Piano's Maene has coordinated a processing agreement with Google, which includes how our data is handled and not allowed to use the results for other Google services.
Retention periods
