Stock status and shipping times

On the webshop, all instruments and accessories have stock status:

  • In stock
  • 1 to 2 weeks
  • On request
  • Sold out

The stock status on the webshop is directly linked to our ERP system, so the displayed status is always representative of the actual stock.

Below you can find what the stock status means for the different types of instruments and accessories.

Acoustic pianos

Stock status Info 
In stock

The instrument is available from stock and will be delivered to your home within 8 to 10 days. Before delivery, each acoustic piano will undergo a thorough technical and cabinet inspection at our polishing department. The next working day after the order, a Maene employee will contact you to agree on a delivery date. Faster delivery is exceptionally possible, by mutual agreement and if logistically feasible. About 2 business days before delivery you will receive an automatic track & trace e-mail in which the estimated timing of delivery can be consulted.

1 to 2 weeks The instrument is on order from the supplier and will be delivered to our warehouses very soon. The stock status "1 to 2 weeks" is an average estimate. Often instruments arrive sooner. If you have already ordered the instrument, you will be contacted by a Maene employee to agree on a delivery date as soon as concrete information is available. 
On request The delivery time is not known. In this case, please contact us for more information. 
Sold out The instrument is end of series and may or may not be succeeded soon by a new model. The instrument can no longer be ordered. 

Digital pianos

In stock

The instrument is available from stock and will be shipped already the next working day, if ordered before 18:00h.

If you choose the standard free delivery via GLS, the instrument will be delivered in its original packaging to your home (just behind the front door). You will receive in advance an e-mail from GLS where you can choose the day and time of delivery. For lighter stage pianos, there is no choice of day/time slot, but you will receive an email in advance communicating the day of delivery.

If you choose the Premium Transport Service, you will receive an invitation from GLS via email 2 business days after the shipment in our warehouse to select a day and time slot of delivery. For more expensive and/or heavier instruments, you will be contacted by a Maene employee who will agree on a delivery date with you.

Unfortunately, exceptionally, orders may experience a slight delay during the carrier's sorting process. Carriers strive to deliver delayed orders within 5 working days. If this is not the case, please contact our customer service.

1 to 2 weeks  The item is on order from the supplier and will be delivered to our warehouses very soon. The stock status "1 to 2 weeks" is an average estimate. Often item arrive sooner. If you have already ordered the item, it will be shipped immediately after delivery to our warehouse. We therefore recommend to place your order in time.
On request The delivery time is not known. In this case, please contact us for more information. 
Sold out The item is end of series and may or may not be succeeded soon by a new model. This item can no longer be ordered. 

Accessories

In stock The item is available from stock and will be shipped already the next business day if ordered before 6:00pm. The item is usually delivered to your home within 2-3 business days via GLS.

Delivery of acoustic pianos

Delivery of acoustic pianos

Acoustic pianos are delivered in most cases by Piano's Maene's transport team via our own trucks. Our transporters have received professional training and place the instrument in the room and/or location of your choice. For more complex deliveries, one of our external transport partners, specialized in piano transport, is used in some cases.

The delivery of an acoustic piano on the ground floor is always free of charge, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. For a delivery at floor level, a supplement will be charged in most cases. This supplement depends on the complexity of the transport situation and is also communicated clearly and transparently in advance. If you have questions about or would like an estimate of the cost of a delivery on floor, you can always contact us or talk to us about it via the web chat (below right).

Warehouse digital pianos

Delivery of digital pianos and accessories

For digital pianos, you can choose the shipping method yourself, during the ordering process on the webshop or when placing the order in the store.

  • Pianos Maene delivers your digital piano (in its original packaging) to your home (just behind the front door) via transport partner GLS. You will receive in advance an e-mail from GLS where you can choose the day and time slot of the delivery. For lighter stage pianos, there is no choice of day/time slot, but you will receive an email in advance communicating the day of delivery. Heavier models are delivered on a wooden pallet. You will receive in advance a tracking email from GLS communicating their chosen day of delivery. If the instrument is in stock and ordered before 6 p.m., the order will be shipped already the next working day.
  • If you choose the Maene Premium Transport Service, the instrument will be assembled in advance and delivered on the ground floor by the Pianos Maene transport team. In that case, a Maene employee will contact you to fix the delivery appointment. For a delivery at floor level, a supplement will be charged in most cases. This supplement depends on the complexity of the transport situation and is communicated clearly and transparently in advance. If you have questions about or would like an estimate of the cost of a delivery on floor, you can always contact us or talk to us about it via the web chat (below right).
Showroom digital pianos
  • You have the option of picking up the digital piano at our store in Alkmaar. This is possible during our opening hours, from 10am to 6pm, from Tuesday to Saturday. For smooth handling, we ask you to contact us in advance so that we can transfer the instrument in time from our central warehouse.

Accessories are delivered to the entrance of your home via transport partner GLS. You also have the option to pick up your order in the store in Alkmaar. This is possible during our opening hours, from 10am to 6pm, from Tuesday to Saturday. For smooth handling, we ask you to contact us in advance so that we can guarantee that your order is in stock in the store.

Within the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France we charge no shipping costs for orders from €50,-. For orders under €50,- you pay a shipping cost of €9,95.

Of course we also deliver to the Wadden Islands. For delivery to Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling Ameland and Schiermonnikoog we use an external carrier. Please contact us for the costs.
