The CX-102’s tones are based on the world-renowned Shigeru Kawai concert grand, a favorite among top pianists worldwide. With Harmonic Imaging technology, all 88 keys are captured with remarkable accuracy, preserving the rich character of an acoustic grand. Beyond piano voices, the CX-102 also offers a selection of additional sounds such as electric pianos, organs, strings, and basses.
Speakers & headphones
The built-in stereo speaker system (22W) easily fills a medium-sized room with a warm, full sound. The Low Volume Balance function keeps the playing experience perfectly balanced, even at reduced volume. For silent practice, the CX-102 features a high-quality headphone output with Spatial Headphone Sound (SHS) technology, delivering a more natural, more spacious soundstage so playing with headphones feels just as immersive and enjoyable.
