Petrus Ypma PY118 AdSilent 2 PE Black polished
The Petrus Ypma PY118 AdSilent 2 is an acoustic upright piano equipped with a silent acoustic system. The AdSilent 2 system has the advantage of allowing you to practise quietly, not disturbing anyone and maintaining the same touch of the regular piano.
Thanks to the extra 7 cm height, this PY 118 features a larger surface area of the soundboard, and longer bass strings. As a result, the instrument produces a warmer and fuller solid sound. The keyboard lid is equipped with a patented "soft fall" security system.

Our knowledge of both historic and contemporary piano construction is unique in Europe. The Chris Maene workshop not only builds replicas of pianofortes, but also its own Chris Maene Straight Strung Concert Grands, a line of top-range right-handed grand pianos. These concert grand pianos have made headlines worldwide, the many CD recordings by international artists confirm their premium quality and importance in the music world.
In addition, since 2004, Pianos Maene has its own second line of instruments, "Doutreligne" (named after Zulma Doutreloigne, mother of Chris Maene). These self-developed quality pianos and grand pianos can now be found in many living rooms, conservatories and concert and event halls.
In 2003 the then Ypma Piano's, largest piano company in the Netherlands, launched the new brand "Petrus Ypma". The brand, which focuses on ideal value for money, has been extremely successful in the Netherlands ever since. When at the end of 2018 Ypma Pianos was acquired and renamed Piano's Maene Netherlands, Piano's Maene decided to further develop and produce the Petrus Ypma pianos as well. The focus always remains to offer the best value for money. We are therefore particularly proud to present this new generation of Petrus Ypma instruments.
