Ultra Black & Ultra White
The Ultra Black and Ultra White are exclusive limited-edition concert grand pianos that combine Steinway’s iconic craftsmanship with a striking visual design: finished entirely in high-gloss black or white, featuring details such as a black cast-iron frame, black soundboard, black pedals, and keyboard on the Ultra Black, and a sleek white finish on the Ultra White. They are produced in very limited numbers (8 black and 8 white of the D-274 model; 18 black and 18 white of the B-211 model) and come with a numbered plate and a certificate of authenticity. In addition, they are equipped with the high-resolution self-playing system SPIRIO | r, which can reproduce performances by top pianists with remarkable nuance and precision. In short, these grand pianos are both exceptional musical instruments and aesthetic statement pieces for a style-conscious environment.
