Alexander Kashpurin - Winner Liszt Competition 2026
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, Virtuose Pianist Alexander Kashpurin returns to Steinway Gallery Alkmaar for a unique Concert!
Earlier this year, Kashpurin convincingly won the Liszt Piano Competition 2026.
“Alexander Kashpurin has a completely unique vision of everything he touches,” said the jury.
In 2024, Alexander already performed a concert in Alkmaar. At that time, despite successes throughout Europe, he was still a relatively unknown name in the Netherlands. Since then, he has also conquered the Netherlands with his musicality and virtuosic playing.
On May 9, he will perform Sonata No. 2 by Carl Maria von Weber and Sonata in B – S.178 by Franz Liszt.
